I have been trying so so hard to start reading more consistently, which if you know me I am like the least consistent person to walk the earth, like ever. To read has actually been a great self care for me! It is nice to take a break and focus on something other than being a mom, wife, photographer, or whatever hat I am wearing that day, and to be actually progressing toward bettering myself.
So, with that said, here is the latest book I just finished:
Eve and the Choice made in Eden
For some reason my cover was like black, but most of the ones online show green?!?!!?!?
Some basic background: the LDS faith does not believe Eve is to be blamed for partaking of the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, rather we should believe it was a miracle that she partook so that all of us could come into mortality.
Some of my favorite parts of this book was how the author (Beverly Campbell) discussed that Adam and Eve are the perfect example of how to work together in a marriage, the miraculous gift of agency, and how Eve embodied the role and title of “mother”.
Definitely recommend for everyone because we all originated from Adam & Eve!
